GearAdvent Day 14: Lights

For lights I chose the Lezyne Macrodrive 1400+ headlight and Strip Drive rear light, which come together in a kit. My darling bought these for me for my birthday. The wheel of time rolls on.

I engineered a way to mount the headlight on the front of the Tubus Tara by using a GoPro mount adapter from a camera company and some stainless bolts I got at my local hardware store. This keeps it off my bars which makes more room for other gizmos, and prevents it conflicting with the handlebar bag. It also gives the bike a sort of locomotive vibe.

Out back the strip light can strap to the seat post or to the rack when the bike is fully loaded.

Both charge with USB-C.

I don’t really have a review for these yet, until/unless I have to ride in the dark. Probably this fall!
